Who we are

'The concept for SUBHAKSHI came to me after an extended stay in an Ashram in India. I was inspired to create a range of vibrationally charged products that support a higher vision, for ourselves and the world. Upon arrival back in Australia I moved into a sacred space in the lush hinterland of Byron Bay. The day I moved in, this dream started to become a reality.

My sister and I invoked each Goddess and used an intuitive process to combine the oil, crystal, and flower essences. We had all four recipes for our 'Goddess in a Bottle' range within the hour. The scents blew us away, and the divine energies were so vital we were deeply moved by what we had created. Ever since then our scents are in high demand worldwide.'

Our Founder Lucia

Since a very young age Lucia has been highly sensitive and creative. Growing up in the idyllic setting of the northern beaches of Sydney, Lucia established a deep connection to the natural world that was further enhanced by a life changing experience in her teen years.

Having worked in numerous fields over the last 15 years, travelling the world and living in many different cities, Lucia decided to settle in the hinterland of Byron Bay. Australias most easterly point.

During her stay in South India in 2019, living saint Sri Sakthi Narayani Amma blessed her with the name Subhakshi.

Her years of experience as an energy healer have greatly influenced Subhakshi. As have the many hours she's spent in ashrams and temples, sitting in the vibrations of unconditional love.

Lucia has always had a higher vision for her life and the world so receiving this particular name felt destined.
